Real-Time Data Acquisition for Operational Data Provisioning (New)

Real-time data acquisition (RDA) is now also supported for data transfer using operational data provisioning (ODP). The data is loaded with a data transfer process directly from the source into the InfoProvider (without PSA).

Real-time data acquisition can be used for ODP contexts SAPI and SLT~<Queue-Alias>. In the case of ODP context SAPI, the DataSources must support real-time data acquisition.

The following prerequisites apply for using real-time data acquisition in the source system:

  • Plug-In Basis (PI_BASIS) version SAP NetWeaver 7.3 SPS 08 or higher and SAP Note 1931427
  • Plug-In Basis (PI_BASIS) version SAP NetWeaver 7.3 EHP1 SPS 05 or higher and SAP Note 1931427
  • Plug-In Basis (PI_BASIS) version SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SPS 02 or higher and SAP Note 1931427
