Read Access Logging (New)
Definition
You can now log read access to data through ABAP Web services. Logging read access to sensitive data can be necessary to fulfill legal requirements or the corporate requirements of your own company or an external company. Typical purposes of Read Access Logging are data security, data privacy, and data classification. The log enables you to answer the question, who accessed which sensitive data and when.
Read Access Logging is rule-based. It provides the following configuration options:
