Triggering a Delta Merge (New)
Use
When using SAP HANA database, data changes on the database are initially saved in a delta index. You can use the Trigger Database Merge setting on the Update tab page in the data transfer process to stipulate that the data is transferred to the main index once the request has been processed. If this is not advisable for whatever reason (load distribution for example), you can integrate the database merge into a process chain using the new process type Trigger for Database Merge .
