Help Content

The help content of the Eclipse-based IDE can now also be accessed through the Internet.

ABAP Workbench (GUI-Based)

Availability of the Back-End Editor

For simplification reasons, the option for using the back-end editor has been removed.

Since this release, only the front-end editors (old and new) are provided in the ABAP WB for editing ABAP source code. In the user-specific settings, these options are renamed as follows:

  • Front-End Editor (Old) has been renamed to Source Code-Based Editor
  • Front-End Editor (New) has been renamed to Text-Based Editor

Test and Analysis Tools in ABAP (GUI-Based)

SQL Monitor

Time Series-Oriented View on Performance Data:

With the time series you have the option to focus on SQL Monitor data for a specific time interval. In this way, you are able to determine the granularity of measurement results.
