The new features focus on usability and improvements for the use of side panels.

Usability

  • One row header: tabs and quick launch are displayed in one row

  • End users can change the icon of a tab

  • System information in the title of the tab preview

Context-Sensitive Side Panel

  • It is no longer necessary to add those applications in the role menu that side panel applications are referring to. This enhancement is available in combination with component SAP_BASIS 731 SP08 (or higher) or a patch of the NWBC ABAP runtime provided in 1809125 Information published on SAP site.

Authentication

  • NWBC supports usage of Secure Login Client (SLC) with the upcoming SAP SSO 2.0 SP0.
