SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal (Enhanced)

The SAP Fiori launchpad on Portal now includes the following capabilities:

Featured	Home Page Updates	New	As an administrator, you can control the ability of end users to access your up-to-date home page content (home page synchronization). You can: Enable users to update the home page manually. Enable the portal to check the portal server for updates and display the latest version of the home page when a user logs on. Enable update notifications for end users. Prevent users from triggering home page updates. Changes that administrators make to home page content do not overwrite end user personalization. Fiori Framework Page	Alphabetical Sorting of Tiles by Title within a Category	New	As an administrator, you can now determine whether tiles representing an iView or a page are sorted alphabetically by title within a category. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
	Clear Personalization	New	A new menu item, Clear Personalization, has been added to the Options menu. Selecting this menu item allows end users to undo changes they’ve made to the home page. Using the Fiori Framework Page, as an administrator, you can show or hide this menu item. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
	Filtering by Tags in Tile Catalog	New	As an administrator, you can now determine whether, in the tile catalog, end users can filter tiles representing an iView or a page by the related terms defined in the tile properties. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
	Related Links	Enhanced	As an administrator, you can now determine whether related links appear in a side panel. To support this addition display option, a new property, Display Mode for Related Links, has been added to the Fiori Framework Page. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
	Remove Duplicate Tiles	New	As an administrator, you can prevent duplicate tiles, based on either portal content or remote content, from appearing in a category. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
	User Images	New	As an administrator, you can now show or hide user images in the home page by configuring a new property in the Fiori Framework Page, Show User Images. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
iView and Page Properties	Configurable Width	New	Using the Open in Full Width property, as an administrator, you can specify whether an iView or page opens in the full width of the screen area or in a narrower width. For more information, see Managing iView and Page Properties
	SAP Fiori Borders	Enhanced	As an administrator, you can now configure iViews and pages so that only a header bar appears at runtime in the SAP Fiori launchpad. For more information, see Configuring SAP Fiori Borders in iViews and Pages
	Tile Display Mode	New	As an administrator, you can now configure iViews and pages to appear as links or tiles in the home page. To support this feature, a new property, Tile Display Mode, has been added. For more information, see Managing iView and Page Properties.
	Tile Size	New	With the Tile Size property for iViews and pages, as an administrator, you can specify the dimensions of the tile representing an iView or page in the home page and tile catalog. For more information, see Managing iView and Page Properties
	Window Features	New	As an administrator, you can now use the Window Features property to specify how an iView or page appears when launched from the launchpad in a new window. Window Features specifies the Web browser window features, such as window size and position, when the iView or page appears in a new Web browser window. Navigation	App Navigation	Enhanced	End users can now navigate between a launched application and the launchpad using the Web browser standard back and forward buttons. For more information, see Navigating to Catalogs or Groups.
	Dynamic Navigation	Enhanced	Content administrators can set context-sensitive dynamic iViews to pop up automatically when an end user launches the associated iView or page. End users can see the dynamic navigation iView and the content area side-by-side. For more information, see Setting Up Dynamic Navigation in SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal.
	Quick Links	New	Quick links are now supported in the Fiori Framework Page. As an administrator, you can configure quick links to iViews or pages. For more information, see Setting Up Navigation in SAP Fiori Launchpad on Portal and Navigation with Quick Links.
General	BI Bookmarking	New	End users can now change and save the current state of an SAP Business Explorer (SAP BEx) report by saving it as a tile. Saving as a tile creates a bookmark ID that appears in the new tile URL, and which can be shared between different end users who are assigned to the same role. Example An end user creates separate tiles for different pages in a BEx Web Application iView and sends a URL for a specific page to a colleague. Personalization	Theme Setting	New	End users can set the theme in the SAP Fiori launchpad Options menu, from the Theme setting in User Preferences. For more information, see Enabling Home Page Personalization
Personalization	Tile Settings	Enhanced	As an administrator, if you enable personalization for the SAP Fiori launchpad on Portal, end users can rename tiles representing an iView or page and change the subtitle and info text. For more information, see Enabling Home Page Personalization
Performance	Performance	Enhanced	The SAP Fiori launchpad on Portal uses a filtering mechanism to determine the content to display on each device. Filtering of content according to device type now takes place on the server side, and not on the client side. For more information, see Setting Device Types.
Accessibility	Accessibility Preferences	New	End users can now activate accessibility features by choosing a new Options menu item, Accessibility. As an administrator, you can show or hide the Accessibility menu item. You show or hide this menu item by configuring a new property in the Fiori Framework Page, Show ‘Accessibility’ in ‘Options’ Menu. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page.
Accessibility	SAP High Contrast Black Theme	New	End users can now select the SAP High-Contrast Black (HCB) theme from the Theme setting in User Preferences. HCB supports people with visual impairments, especially those with light sensitivity. For more information, see Working with Portal Themes.
Terminology	Fact Sheets Renamed as Object Pages		To align with other SAP products, fact sheets are renamed as object pages. To support this change, the user interface and the documentation have been updated. For more information, see Fiori Framework Page and Enabling Search for Object Pages.
Terminology	Locked Group Property Renamed		The name of the Lock Group property, accessed through the role Properties editor, has been changed to Include in the Locked Group For more information, see Setting Up a Locked Group.
