Remodeling (enhanced)

The following new functions are available for remodeling:

  • You can now remodel InfoObjects.
  • You can configure the tool used for a remodeling rule. Previously, remodeling rules were executed via the ABAP/4 database utility (SE14). From this release, you can execute the remodeling rules using a variant optimized for SAP HANA or using the data transfer process.

  • The new Move Characteristic operation is available for InfoCubes and DataStore objects. This operation enables you to move characteristics from one dimension to another.
