Use
Easy queries allow external access to queries (for more information, see the overview in Open Analysis Interfaces).
To activate an existing query for external access, it must be generated as an easy query. You can do this by selecting the By Easy Query option in the query properties on the Advanced tab page for the query in question in BEx Query Designer.
When you save, the system starts saving the easy query in the background. The system creates the corresponding SOA configuration profile for the generated easy query based on the SOA standard settings. You can then use the easy query as a SOAP service. For an overview of the easy queries that you have generated, and to manage them, use Easy Query Manager (transaction EQMANAGER) in the BW system.
To be able to use the easy query, you have to check certain settings in the system and/or make a number of changes. The steps for configuring the easy query are described in the configuration documentation.
The result of the easy query is desribed in the documentation for the Easy Query API. The column description in table E_T_COLUMN_DESCRIPTION now has additional detail. COLUMN_Type now has a fourth value: T = formatted key figure.
