Increasing the Size of Main Storage Pools (IBM i)
Procedure
If you notice that a main storage pool has a high paging rate, increase the size of the pool affected. (You can check paging rates using the operating system monitor (Transaction ST06) or the CCMS alert monitor (Transaction RZ20).

Machine Pool: This is always system pool 1.
The paging rate should be lower than 10 faults per second.

Other pools: Ideally, the paging rate should be lower than 200 faults per second.
