Favorites enable a user to find his favorites items from a catalog and save them as favorite items in the form of a list. You assign favorite items to a work area. This means you can save different favorite items for each work area, based on the same basic catalog. The favorites list is available to the user as selection help in the corresponding application.

Prerequisites

To compile favorites items from basic catalogs, you will need the authorization object N_1BCUFAV.

Features

The following functions are available for compiling favorites items:

  • Assign Item

    You can use this function to transfer the basic catalog items flagged as selectable, as favorite items. You can also use this function to assign the another user's favorites you your own favorites.

  • Sort Favorite Items

    You can sort your favorite items, regardless of the catalog hierarchy, using drag&drop or with pushbuttons.

  • Maintain Third Party Favorites (Change User)

    This function enables administrators to define favorites for users. You can compile favorite items for other users. In order to execute this function you will require administration authorization in authorization object N_1BCUFAV for maintenance of favorites.
