Change SelectionThe Change Selection
function is available for every user with authorization for the Clinical Work Station.
Call the clinical work station.
For information about this, see Calling Clinical Work Station/Care Unit Work Station or Calling Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility Work Station.
In the LaunchPad of the Clinical Work Station where the various work environments and views are displayed one below the other, position the cursor on

) or
(-
) to the left of the relevant view.
In the context menu, choose Change Selection
.
This function is available as a pushbutton for the active view if you have activated the business function SAP Patient Management: Legal Process Adoption
(ISH_MISC1
).
A selection screen appears with the default selection criteria.
Specify the selection criteria.
Note
If you set the Manual Entry Sel.
indicator, the selection dialog box appears when you call the view. It shows the selection criteria currently set for the respective view.
This enables you to define a view that you can use for freely definable selections.
Note
A senior staff member on the care unit can, for example, use this view to access different care units.
Choose
Apply

).
After changing the selection criteria you return to the view. The selections you have just made apply. These selections remain active throughout the session.
If you switch to a different view in the meantime, the settings remain in force.
Choose
Basic Settings
(Reset Basic Settings
) to reset the temporary changes for a view.
Caution
This function also deletes the personalized layout of the view type.
The next time you start the Clinical Work Station, the default selections for the view apply anew.
