The system generates keys whenever you create the following:

  • New work environment

  • New view

  • New layout

  • New function variant

The generated keys are only for internal identification, and are not displayed to the user.

Note Note

If you created work environments, views, layouts, or function variants in Release 4.61, when generating the keys the system runs a check for conflicts, and, if necessary, automatically creates a valid key.

The institution-wide layout that applies to each view type has the key /STANDARD.

If an institution-wide layout with the key /STANDARD is not available, and you haven’t defined a layout for the view, the system uses the layout (contained in the standard system) with the key

  • 1SAP_ISH: if you are using IS-H without IS-H*MED

  • 1SAP_MED: if you are using IS-H with IS-H*MED
