Function documentationPersonalize Layout (User)

The user of the Clinical Work Station has access to functions to change the display of data. Users can define a personal layout for each view. If more than one view of the same view type exist in a work environment, you can sort them individually and select individual columns for each of these views.

Features

The system always stores personal layouts when finishing a view and when exiting the clinical work station via the Exit function. If you exit the Clinical Work Station by choosing Cancel (Cancel), the system does not create a personal layout.

Example Example

You can change the sequence of columns in a view by selecting a column in the main display window and “dragging”it to a different position.

You can select a column in the main display window, and sort the view according to this column.

End of the example.

Caution Caution

To avoid display-related problems you should not place non-key fields in front of key fields (in blue in the default color settings).

End of the caution.

When you exit the view, the system automatically saves the personal layout for this view. The next time you call this view, the personal layout is available to you.

Note Note

Layouts that are saved with the view can only be modified by users with administrator rights.

For more information about layout modification options available to system administrators, see Editing Layouts (System Administrator. You’ll also find information about transporting personal layouts there.

End of the note.

Activities

You can delete the personal layout for the view by choosing Defaults (Defaults). The standard layout reappears.

Caution Caution

This function also reverts a temporarily modified selection for the view to the default setting.

End of the caution.
