This function displays the laboratory values for all of the patients at a care unit. You define the patients for whom the printout is to take place in the Print Area. In addition to the nursing OU, you can also enter the departmental OU in order to filter your "own" patients for an interdisciplinary occupancy.

This report can only be executed by users who belong to the report authorization group N_2_LAB1.

You define which laboratory values are to be printed in Processing Mode:

Only New Findings

The system will only print the findings of the cases for whom a lab value has changed.

All Findings with Change

As soon as there is a new or changed lab value for a case, the system will print all findings for this case.

All Findings

The system will print all findings of the cases of the care unit.

You can define whether the print indicator should be set. The system needs the print indicator in order to recognize modified or new lab values for a repeat print. The system highlights these values in the Only New Findings and All Findings with Change processing modes.

Printout

ABAP Report

If you do not enter cumulative findings, the system uses the standard printout.

After you select this option, the system will display all laboratory findings for the patients using the restrictions you have entered. The data is displayed sorted by the name of the patient, the service group, the service and the findings date. For the order of the service groups and the services, the Customizing of the cumulative findings is analyzed.

The display width is 120 characters. The system will display the patient line intensively; for each patient, the system will display the gender (as a form of address), the full name of the patient, and the date of birth.

For each service the following data are displayed in one line:

  • Service group (25 characters)

  • Service (25)

  • Value (17)

  • Indicator for pathological values (5)

  • Indicator for comment (1)

  • Unit (10), normal range (14)

  • Findings date (8) Findings time (5)

The service group has been moved over by two (2) characters in order to clarify that the lab values are valid for each patient. Pathological values and the indicator for pathological values are highlighted in color in the dialog.

Web Dynpro Application

After you select this option, the system will display all laboratory findings for the patients using the restrictions you have entered. The patients are listed in the left-hand area and sorted alphabetically. You call the lab cumulative findings for the corresponding patients using the link; the active patient is displayed on a yellow background.

Functions

ABAP Report

You can use Update (Update) to refresh the cumulative findings without exiting the list.

You can use Lab (Lab) to branch to the initial screen of the cumulative findings. If you position the cursor on a patient name, you can then choose Curr. Page (Curr. Page) to print the current page for a patient or you can choose All Pages (All Pages) to print all pages for a patient. You can print the overview list by choosing - (-) in the icon toolbar.

Web Dynpro Application

You can use Update (Update) to refresh the cumulative findings without exiting the list.

Navigation Options

ABAP Report

Functions that you can access by double-clicking will appear as a hot spot in the cumulative findings:

  • Double-click on a value, a unit, an abnormality indicator, a date or a time: Display Individual Findings

  • Double-click on a service: Display all values of a patient for this this service.

If you double-click on a patient name, you will branch to the cumulative findings of this case. This double-click cannot be provided as a hotspot because there are multiple functions for each patient:

  • Cumulative Findings of the Case

  • Print Current Page of the Case

  • Print All Pages of the Case

If you click the right mouse button on a line, you can use the context menu to Directly Print Individual Findings.
