Material Proposal Structure For material entry you can transfer materials from a material proposal. You transfer materials from a material proposal in the
Material Proposal
screen. You can change the transferred material proposal in material entry.
You access the
Material Proposal
screen by selecting material entry. The organizational unit-related parameter (OU-related parameter) MMINTABL controls whether you access the
Material Proposal
screen or the material entry function.
The material proposal is only available if you use material consumption documentation with Materials Management (MM) integration.
In the
Material Proposal
screen you see the material proposal for a service. A material proposal for a service is built using the following structure:
Material proposal for the service: If a material proposal is defined for the service, this is displayed. The first time you call the material entry function for a definite service, the material proposal is automatically preselected. You can transfer the material proposal directly. Choose
Transfer.
Material proposal using hierarchy definition of input help: If a material proposal is defined for the service using the hierarchy key and nodes of a hierarchy definition in input help, the material of the subtree is displayed.
Material range of the OU: The material proposal comprises the material range of the performing OU of the service. The OU parameter MSPEKNA controls whether the material range of the OU should be displayed in the material proposal as standard.
Material hit list of OU: You see the material hit list of the performing OU of the service in the material proposal. The OU parameter MHITNA controls whether the material hit list of the OU should be displayed in the material proposal as standard.
Hierarchy: You can display a hierarchy from the hierarchy definition in input help in the material proposal. The hierarchy code is entered in the OU parameter N1MHIER.
The following functions are available for processing the material proposal:
Transfer
: The selected material, including the entered material consumption quantity is transferred to the
Enter Material Consumed
screen for further processing.

Save
: The selected material, including the entered consumed material quantities is saved directly. In this case the
Enter Material Consumed
screen is not displayed.
Expand Subtree
: This function expands a subtree. If you select the node of a collapsed subtree, the subtree expands.
Collapse Subtree
: This function collapses an expanded subtree. If you select the node of an expanded subtree, the subtree collapses.

You can search for a material in the material proposal

: The material search is continued.
Material Range
: At the end of the material proposal, this function displays the material range of the performing OU of the service. If the material range of the OU is already displayed, the displayed material proposal is not changed.
Hit List
: At the end of the material proposal, this function displays the material hit list of the performing OU of the service. If the material hit list of the OU is already displayed, the displayed material proposal is not changed.

New Hierarchy ID
: The material proposal is enhanced by the display of a hierarchy from the hierarchy definition for input help. If you select this function, a dialog box appears where the hierarchy key can be entered.

Color Legend
: You access a dialog box which explains the color legend of the material proposal.
Print
: The displayed material proposal is printed.
Cancel
: You access the
Enter Material Consumed
screen without transferring a material proposal.
