You can use these settings to influence the vital sign functionality in relation to the organizational unit (OU).

You use the following organizational unit-related parameters (OU parameters) to make settings for vital signs.

To enter OU parameters you select the menu option Start of the navigation path Clinical System Next navigation step Basic Clinical Data Next navigation step Medical Rounds Next navigation step Vital Signs Next navigation step OU-Related Settings Next navigation step Maintain End of the navigation path from the SAP Easy Access menu. You access the screen for changing the OU-related customizing.

Structure

The following OU parameters are available for vital signs:

N1VPHIM

This parameter controls how the system determines the vital sign range when entering vital sign values. When entering vital sign values, the user enters the departmental and documenting OUs. Possible parameter values include:

The system will take into account the entire vital sign range which is determined by the OU hierarchy (standard value).

The system will only take into account the vital sign range of the documenting OU.

The system will only take into account the vital sign range of the departmental OU.

EF

The system will take into account the vital sign ranges of both the documenting and departmental OUs.

N1TLGPL

You can use this parameter to control which graphic profile is used to display vital sign values in the patient organizer. You define the following:

  • the graphic profile group (e. g. TL)

  • the name of the profile (e. g. SAP_X001)

  • the index (e. g. 1)

You define the graphic profile in the implementation guide under SAP Web Application Start of the navigation path Server Next navigation step Frontend Services Next navigation step Bar Chart Next navigation step Define Graphic Profiles End of the navigation path.

The system checks the parameter value for the OU in the context of which the patient organizer was called.

If you do not maintain the parameter, the delivered standard profile TL/SAP_X001/1 will be used.

N1TLMIN

You use this parameter to control which view (zoom level) is used to display vital sign values in the patient organizer. Three different views (zoom levels) are available in the system for displaying vital sign values in the patient organizer. Possible parameter values include:

The system checks the parameter value for the OU in the context of which the patient organizer was called.

In the patient organizer you can use a zoom function to change the display, regardless of the parameter setting.
