Procedure documentationManage Transporters

Each day you organize all transporters who are available. Each day the transporters receive a pager for the day. Once a day you enter which transporter can be reached under which pager number.

Caution Caution

The system does not manage the absences and presence of the transporters.

End of the caution.

Prerequisites

The system administrator must assign the transporters, who are managed as employees, to an organizational unit (OU) using the position assignment.

Procedure

  1. You select Transporter Management, to manage the transporters of the patient transport service.

You access the Transport Management dialog box which, in principle, displays all transporters who are assigned to the transport service OU which you entered in the initial screen. The transporters who have been set as available or non-available, are flagged in the Column.

    Note Note

Apart from in the above-mentioned example, Available Transporter / All Transporters always displays the current status All or Available. The initial status is set in the intended user parameter N1FDFVX.

    End of the note.
  2. Enter the required data.

You select Available Transporters / All Transporters, to display only the available transporters or all transporters. If you display all transporters, you can flag any employees who are entered as unavailable, as available.

You select Transporter Available/Not Available, to flag the desired transporters as available.

    Note Note

You can indicate that transporters are available over a longer period of time (e.g. several days) using Available From and Available To. The system will preset the fields with the period of time for which the Dispatcher work station was called.

You can also set the unavailable employees to available, by entering a pager number or a telephone number for the relevant employee. You can use the input help, which displays a selection list of all available pagers, when entering a pager number.

    End of the note.
