Procedure documentationManaging Transporters with Assigned Orders

The transporter overview displays all transporters, who you have selected using transporter management in a tree structure. The first level of the tree displays information about the transporter (e.g. his current work status) and the transporter's next outstanding order. The second level displays the remaining transport orders which have yet to be completed, sorted by their pick-up times.

You receive an overview of the transport orders and can quickly assign transport orders.

Procedure

  1. You select one or more transport orders.

  2. You select one of the following pushbuttons to call the following functions:

    • Remove Assignment

You undo any transport order – transporter assignments already made. You can only execute this function for transport orders which do not have a final status.

    • Set Further Status

You set transport orders to a defined status. You select the desired status from a menu.

If a transport order has been assigned to several transporters, you can change the status of the transport order for one of the transporters. The system will then display the changed status for all assigned transporters.

Depending on OU parameter N1FDSTAPOP you will access the Set Status dialog box, where you can change the time of the status change.

      Example Example

You enter the assignment of a transport order to a transporter in the system half an hour later. You wish the status change to be entered with the time at which it actually took place, i.e. half an hour before the system time.

      End of the example.
    • Set Order to "Completed"

You set the status of a transport order to Completed.

If a transport order has been assigned to several transporters, you can change the status of the transport order for one of the transporters. The system will then display the changed status for all assigned transporters.

Depending on OU parameter N1FDSTAPOP you will access the Set Status dialog box, where you can change the time of the status change.

You can also use the right mouse button to call a context menu, which contains the following functions:

    • Display Transport Order

You can also display transport orders using the Details pushbutton.

    • Change Transport Order

      See Manually Entering Transport Orders

    • Create Initial, Return, Further Transport

If possible, the system will fill the fields of the new transport order using the selected transport order.
