Presetting for Surgeries
You can define presettings for clinical orders of the Surgery order type or requests. The entries are mainly controlled mainly on the Medical Indicators
tab page of the service master data of the surgery anchor service or the ordered services for surgeries.
On the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose .
In the service master of each orderable service or surgery anchor service you can enter the following information:
Anesthetist Required
You can use the following characteristics:
Not set: The system will not take the indicator into account
Anesthetist required: The system will preset the indicator in the surgery request
Anesthetist not required: The system will not preset the indicator in the surgery request
Using the surgery anchor service, you can indicate that all surgeries require an anesthetist. For services of minor surgeries which are performed using a local anesthetic, you can flag Anesthetist not Required. The system will preset the surgery request for all surgeries with Anesthetist Required, except the surgery requests which only contain services with Anesthetist not Required.

You create the surgery team's Tasks in the service master data of the orderable surgery services in the form of a task proposal. You can also enter task proposals for the anchor service. A supplementary procedure is used:
You define tasks which you entered for all operations, as a proposal in the anchor service.
You store special tasks for individual orderable services for surgeries.
Note
When the task proposal is implemented, the system will combine the proposals from the anchor service and from the requested services and sort them using the priority.
You define the proposed room of the request or the clinical order in the service range of an organizational unit as a building unit
