Example: Long-Term Surgery Planning
In some departments, for example the orthopedic department, surgeries are managed using waiting lists.
This scenario does not represent surgery planning in an i.s.h.med appointment management sense, but surgery preregistrations and the management of their waiting lists.
Surgeries on waiting lists are not displayed in any OR plan. You can only manage these surgeries in the clinical work station using the views of the Preregistrations
(waiting lists) or the Appointment Planning
view type. These surgeries will only be displayed in an OR plan, once you have entered a planned surgery appointment in the surgery preregistration.
Note
The system administrator uses the Preregistrations
view type in the clinical work station to create, sort and display the waiting lists in various sequences.
