Creating Doc. Categories for Dialog Applications in Surg. Monitor
You can integrate dialog applications such as team, material or service entry in the surgery monitor. The dialog applications are integrated using document categories which serve as placeholders for the dialog applications.
You can use the following document categories to integrate standard dialog applications into the surgery monitor.

The assignment of the document category to the standard dialog application is predefined in the system and is required by the surgery monitor to determine the dialog application.
You can activate and deactivate the dialog applications via the document profile of the organizational unit (OU).
You create the document categories as follows:
Create a document type OPD for the OR documentation.
The document type classifies the documents according to characteristic properties and the resulting organizational processes.
The document type OPD is supplied with the system.
Create the document categories for the standard dialog applications.
To create a document category, on the SAP Easy Access
screen chooes .
Create the document category and enter the previously defined document type in Document Type. When creating the document category you should note that the document category type should be set to Technical Document
.
Save the entries.
Note
The document categories for the standard applications do not need a dialog and print application and it is not necessary to generate the document category.
