Function documentationUser Authorization f. Planning Grid/Appt Planning View Type

The planning grid works in the same way as visit planning using a central appointment management. This appointment management checks the user authorization for the authorization object N_AMB_DSP when the following functions are executed:

  • Create Appointment

  • Change Appointment

  • Display Appointment

  • Cancel Appointment

System administration must grant any users who work with the planning grid the relevant authorization.

You can use the authorization checks for planning and surgery planning to ensure that a planning employee can only see and plan areas and resources which lie within his area of responsibility and for which he is authorized. This employee should not have access to other areas and their resources.

Note Note

This function is available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD).

End of the note.

The following areas are available for the planning work stations:

  • The worklist with the orders to be planned

In the Surgeries view type in the clinical work station the system checks the authorization object N_WPLACE. The system now also uses this authorization object for the Appointment Planning and Surgery Scheduling view types.

  • The planning area in which all planned appointments and, if applicable, also process flows are displayed.

The authorization object N_AMB_DSP is available for the planning area.

The system will also check the Display Appointment activity in the Surgeries view type. If the selection variant contains selected planning objects for which the user has no display authorization, the system removes these planning objects from the display.

The Appointment Planning and Surgery Scheduling view types use the planning grid that is already checked by the authorization N_AMB_DSP. Unlike in the Surgeries view type, you can hide planning objects, for which no display authorization exists, in these view types by means of the display variants.
