Planning Object for Day-Based Planning and Planning Grid
You must define every treatment/operating organizational unit (OU), for which you wish to use day-based planning or the planning grid, as an active planning object. This is independent of whether planning objects have already been created for the rooms and or persons of this OU.
See Planning Object
For the display of the day-based planning or planning grid, you must define a service quota for every daily program used in the planning object of the OU.
Example
For the surgical OR, you define that no more than 1 surgery of longer than 4 hours, 2 surgeries of up to 4 hours and 3 surgeries of longer than 2 hours should be scheduled for each day in the day-based planning.
You can also define available time slots for planning objects on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Note
If you wish to define available time slots on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, set the Time Slot Valid on Public Hols
indicator.
Time Slot Valid on Public Hols is independent of the planning authority: a planning OU can schedule appointments within its planning authority even is there are no available time slots.
