Object documentationDay-Based Planning / Planning Grid Worklist

The worklist (incoming list) displays patients with their clinical order items, for whom an appointment must be assigned.

Each clinical order is an entry in the worklist. The worklist displays a clinical order alternatively with all order items, or only those order items which you selected, e.g. in a view of the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view type for appointment planning.

You can plan appointments for an order item or for selected services of an order item. It is also possible to plan appointments for order items without services.

Note Note

If you call the planning grid with a patient whose appointments to be planned are assigned to different cases, the system will display the patient several times in the worklist. The Case column displays the corresponding case number.

End of the note.

You can also manually remove clinical orders from the worklist without planning appointments.

As standard, the worklist will display the name and first name of the patient for each clinical order. You can use the Display Clinical Order context menu to call the clinical order associated with a planned appointment in display mode. To call appointments, which are not yet planned, from the worklist, choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Clinical Order Next navigation step Display End of the navigation path.

You can display additional fields in the layout using the column selection. You can display, for example, the birthdate or diagnosis as well as the patient's name.

Note Note

If you use the clinical system (i.s.h.med), you can also display the preregistered services alongside the patient's name. The worklist displays a title, To Plan, and contains any patients which you selected in your work station support, in order to plan appointments.

End of the note.

You can change the size of the worklist, overview of planned days/patient's planned appointments, overview calendar and daily grid/time grid. You simply drag the line between two elements to the desired position.

These positions are retained when you exit the day-based planner or the planning grid and also when you end the current system registration.

Note Note

With the Select pushbutton you can select appointments in the planning grid from the patient's appointment overview and navigate to these appointments. The system displays and highlights the required appointment in the time grid. If the selected display variant prevents the system from showing the appointment in the time grid (for example, because the room in which the appointment is to take place is not displayed in the current display variant), a corresponding message is issued.

End of the note.

Note Note

This function is available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD).

End of the note.

Configurability of the Worklist

The worklist appears in tree form, with nodes for each order item entered or, several order items selected in a view (e.g. waiting list).

Note Note

When you use i.s.h.med and use day-based or time-based planning for clinical order items for surgeries/treatments, you can expand each order item to display the services entered in the order item.

End of the note.

You can define the first row of each node based on a field selection. In the worklist, choose the Change Layout function.

For the worklist, you can define several layouts, which can be valid generally or only for certain users.
