Editing Appointment Series

Various functions for editing appointment series are available in views of the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view type of the clinical work station and in the context menu of the planning grid (right mouse button).

The system indicates appointments of an appointment series using (Repeat Appointment).

Procedure

To call the editing functions in the table you select the following functions from the corresponding view in the clinical work station or the context menu or using the menu option Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Appointment End of the navigation path in the planning grid:

Display Series	To display an appointment series, select one of its appointments and choose (Display Series) in the view or Display Series in the context menu of the planning grid.	The system displays the Display Series dialog box. To print an appointment series, choose (Standard) or (Choose Form...).
Change Series	To change an appointment series, select one of its appointments and choose (Change Series) in the view or Change Series in the context menu of the planning grid.	In the Change Series dialog box you can change the data of the appointments of this series, for example, the duration, scheduling type, etc.. To insert new appointments using the appointment search, choose (Further Appointments). You access the appointment search. In addition, this button provides a selection list containing the following functions: To enter new appointments directly, choose Additional Appointment. You access the Maintain Appointment dialog box and can manually create appointment data. This function is not available if the series was created using Joint Planning . In order to add existing appointments of the patient to the series, choose Patient Appointments. The system displays the Appointment Selection dialog box. The system will only display the appointments of the patient for which planning authority exists. You can only transfer appointments which are not part of another appointment series and which do not have a reference to a movement in Actual status. This function is not available if the series was created using joint planning. To remove appointments from the series, choose (Remove Appointment(s)). The appointments will only be removed from the series when you save the appointment series. To cancel appointments of a series, choose (Cancel Appointment(s)). If you cancel the last appointment of a series, the system closes the Change Series function. To move an appointment of a series, choose (Change Appointment(s)) or use the hotspot on the organizational unit to call a planning tool (e.g. the planning grid). You can only move an appointment if it is not yet connected to a movement in ACTUAL status.
Cancel Series	To cancel an entire series, choose (Series) or Cancel Series in the context menu of the planning grid.	You can only cancel the appointment series if no appointments have a reference to a movement in ACTUAL status. If you do not have planning authority, you cannot cancel an appointment series.
