Object documentationFollow-Up Appointment Organizational Unit-Related Parameters

Using the settings related to organizational units (OUs) the system administrator can influence the appointment management functionality for follow-up visits.

See Settings Related to Organizational Units.

You use the following (OU-related) parameters to make settings for follow-up visits.

You define the corresponding OU-related parameters using the transaction N1SQ or in the SAP Easy Access menu under Start of the navigation path Clinical System Next navigation step Basic Clinical Data Next navigation step Service Management Next navigation step Organizational Unit Next navigation step Maintain OU-Related Settings End of the navigation path.

Several dialog boxes are displayed as standard when entering a follow-up visit. You, as the system administrator, can hide some of these using OU parameters.

Structure

BEW_LIST

As standard, the system will display a dialog box with all movements of the case, when Follow-Up Visit Appointment is called. You can deactivate this dialog box using the OU parameter BEW_LIST.

  • Space: Do not display movements

  • X: Display movements

SEARCH_POP

The SEARCH_POP parameter is only effective if the user plans follow-up appointments for a patient using the Follow-Up Visit Appointment function and the visit scheduling. This is only the case if parameter N1TMDISP determines that the visit scheduling function is the planning tool.

The SEARCH_POP parameter determines whether the visit scheduling function should be executed with or without the appointment search.

The system will check the parameter value for the organizational unit (OU) currently planning.

Possible parameter values are:

  • X: Visit Scheduling with Appointment Search

  • Space: Visit scheduling without appointment search (standard value)

WIDB_ORGID

Parameter WIDB_ORGID determines which OU's calendar should be displayed. A standard, the current OU is assumed to be the OU of the follow-up visit (the current OU is the OU for which the view in the clinical work station was called).

If the follow-up visit should be created for another OU, this can be maintained in parameter WIDB_ORGID.

Note Note

The appointment calendar of the OU is always displayed.

The dialog box for creating a movement is also always displayed.

End of the note.
WIDB_MODUS

You use this parameter to control whether the system should create appointments (preregistration system) or movements (case-related system) within the framework of a follow-up visit.

The system will check the parameter for the calling organizational unit (OU).

Possible parameter values:

  • 1: User accesses the Create Appointment or Change Appointment dialog box (standard value)

  • 2: User accesses the Create Visit or Change Visit dialog box

    Note Note

You should note that the system will only check this parameter if you have maintained the parameters below as follows:

    End of the note.
    • Parameter N1TMDISP must contain the parameter value 1 = IS-H Scheduling.

    • Parameter BEW_LIST must contain the parameter value Space = OFF.

    • Parameter WIDB_DISPO must contain the parameter value Space = Create Visit.

WIDB_DISPO

You use this parameter to control whether the user should branch directly to the Create Visit function, where he can enter a follow-up visit appointment, or to the visit scheduling function.

The system will only check the parameter value, if you have maintained parameter BEW_LIST so that the system does not branch to the appointment and visit overview (parameter value Space).

The system will generally check the entered parameter value of the calling, i.e. performing or treatment organizational unit (OU). However, you can override this using the parameter WIDB_ORGID.

Possible parameter values:

  • X: System branches to visit scheduling (standard value)

  • Space: System branches directly to Create Visit

    Note Note

You should note that you can use parameter WIDB_MODUS to control whether an appointment or a movement is created as the follow-up.

    End of the note.
N1TMDISP

You use this parameter to control which scheduling tool should be called as standard in the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility views of the clinical work station for the Follow-Up Visit Appointment function.

This parameter is only effective in the Follow-Up Visit Appointment function. No other planning functions (Initial Visit Appointment, Plan Appointment) for services use parameter N1TMDISP, they always branch to the planning grid.

The system will check the parameter value for the organizational unit (OU) which constitutes the reason why the patient and his appointment, visit, or service appears in the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view.

  • In the case of a visit this is the nursing OU of the visit

  • In the case of an appointment this is the OU for which the appointment is planned

  • In the case of the service this is the performing OU of the service

Possible parameter values:

  • 1: Visit scheduling

  • 2: Planning grid (standard value)
