Object documentationDay-Based Planning Organizational Unit-Related Parameters

With settings relating to the organizational unit (OU), you can influence the functionality and display of day-based planning.

See Settings Related to Organizational Units

You use the following organizational unit-related (OU-related parameters) to make the settings for the day-based planning.

Define the corresponding OU parameters on the SAP Easy Access screen by choosing Start of the navigation path Clinical System Next navigation step Basic Clinical Data Next navigation step Service Management Next navigation step Organizational Unit Next navigation step Maintain OU-Related Settings End of the navigation path.

Structure

N1KPEL

You can use this parameter to control whether the system should display services in the worklist (incoming list) of the day-based planning.

  • X: System will display services

  • SPACE: System will not display services (standard value)

N1KPKOAZ

You can use this parameter to determine whether the system should display the defined admission quota per care unit and inpatient planning type, in the daily planning grid. The defined quotas will be displayed in parentheses next to the number of planned admission appointments.

You maintain this parameter for the department for which the patient admission is scheduled.

  • X: The system will display quotas (standard value)

  • SPACE: The system will not display quotas

N1KPLMO

Depending on the planning mode, day-based planning will display two daily planning grids:

  • One grid for the number of planned surgeries/treatments

  • One grid for the number of planned services.

In this parameter you define the content of the first line of each grid:

  • 1: Current day (standard value)

  • 2: Start of current week

N1KPOPSP

You can use this parameter to determine whether the system should optimize the column display in the daily planning grid. The system will use the selected preregistration to optimize the column display.

  • X: Optimize column display (standard value)

  • SPACE: Do not optimize column display

N1KPVNV

In parameter N1KPVNV, define whether the system should automatically exit day-based planning, when you plan a surgery/treatment or admission appointment for the last patient on the worklist.

  • X: Exit day-based planning

  • Space: Do not exit day-based planning (standard value)

N1LSLIST

You can use this parameter to control whether the system should display the service code or the service description.

When several services are displayed, the system will separate the service texts using commas.

  • 1: Display service code

  • 2: Display service description (standard value)

N1PLCO

You can use this parameter to control the appearance of clinical orders in the worklists of the planning grid and day-based panning:

  • 1: All items of a clinical order area visible in the worklist (default value).

  • 2: The system only displays the clinical order items that you selected before calling the planning grid or day-based planning.

The system will check the parameter value for the following organizational unit (OU):

  • In the planning grid, for the planning OU

  • In day-based planning, for the OU to be planned (as no planning OU exists).

N1APKOAZ

You can use this parameter to determine whether the system should display the available quota when planning admissions.

  • X: Display quota (standard value)

  • Space: Do not display quota

N1APDSPTY

Every admission appointment is based on an inpatient planning type. If you do not enter an inpatient planning type when planning an admission appointment, the system will use the value entered in this parameter.

You define the parameter for the treatment care unit and enter an inpatient scheduling type as the value.

OE_DISPTYP

The user should be able to create appointments for times outside of the day program, but within his planning authority, by double-clicking.

To use this function in the planning grid you should maintain the parameter OE_DISPTYP, which provides the scheduling type of the treatment OU.

Caution Caution

You should note that you must change the value of this parameter from the date when you introduce a new scheduling type and declare the previous scheduling type used to be invalid.

End of the caution.

Note the following procedure for the presetting of the scheduling type:

  • Appointment allocation and surgery planning in i.s.h.med takes the scheduling type to be used for an appointment from the parameter OE_DISPTYP, provided that the scheduling type is not preset otherwise, for example, on the basis of the time slot.

  • Presetting is made once, i.e. if you remove the preset scheduling type, the system does not preset the value again. The system only presets the scheduling type if you have not selected any other scheduling type.

    Caution Caution

    Note the following exception:

If, when changing an appointment, you choose a different treatment OU or other date, the scheduling type is only preset, if you do not select a different scheduling type.

    End of the caution.
  • If the value of the OU parameter OE_DISPTYP is invalid or not maintained, the system uses the first valid scheduling type from the table of Scheduling Types.

  • If you reschedule an existing appointment without dialog in such a way that the treatment OU changes and the scheduling type becomes invalid, the system presets the scheduling type with the value of the parameter OE_DISPTYP.

  • If you double-click a free time area in the planning grid and the scheduling type is missing, the system presets the scheduling type with the value of the parameter OE_DISPTYP.
