Object documentationRequest Organizational Unit-Related Parameters

With these settings related to the organizational unit (OU) system administration can influence the functionality of the request.

See Settings Related to Organizational Units.

You use the following organizational unit-related (OU-related) parameters to make settings for the request.

You define the corresponding OU parameters in the SAP Easy Access menu under Start of the navigation path Clinical System Next navigation step Basic Clinical Data Next navigation step Service Management Next navigation step Organizational Unit Next navigation step Maintain OU-Related Settings End of the navigation path.

Structure

N1AFPTREE

For each OU you can create standard request profiles. A request profile is a combination of services, which are often requested in this combination.

You use this parameter to control the display of request profiles on the tab pages of the selection list.

You can set the following options:

  • Space: Space: Display the request profiles in a separate Profiles tab page in the request hit list (standard value)

  • X: Display the request profiles as Profile nodes on the Other tab page

The system will check the parameter for the requesting nursing organizational unit (OU).

N1AFPPOS

Depending on the setting in parameter N1AFPTREE (X) you can use this parameter to define the position of the request profiles on the Other tab page.

You can set the following options:

  • 1: Request profiles at the beginning of the list of the Other tab page (standard value)

  • L: Request profiles at the end of the list of the Other tab page

  • Space: No node is displayed for the request profiles.

The system will check the parameter for the requesting nursing organizational unit (OU).

N1ANFOEL

You use this parameter to control which OU the system enters or presets as the requesting departmental OU for a service in the request, the clinical order, the service entry or the subsequent service entry functions:

You can select from the following options:

  • X (default value)

    • For the request and the clinical order

      • For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the department that is saved in the patient's most recent transfer movement or admission movement as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

      • For outpatient cases, the system enters the department of the first movement of the case as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

      • For caseless requests or caseless clinical orders, the system enters the departmental OU specified in the request or in the clinical order as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

    • For service entry and subsequent service entry

      • For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the department that is saved in the patient's most recent transfer movement or admission movement as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

      • For outpatient cases, the system enters the department of the first movement of the case as the departmental OU for the service.

  • Space

    • For the request and the clinical order

The system enters the department of the requesting nursing OU (higher-level stuctural OU) as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

    • For service entry and subsequent service entry

The system enters the department of the performing OU (higher-level structural OU) as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

  • Fixed OU

    • For the request and the clinical order

The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

    • For service entry and subsequent service entry

The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.

For requests and clinical orders the system checks the parameter value for the requesting nursing OU of the request or of the clinical order, and for service entry and subsequent service entry it checks the parameter value for the performing OU.
