Request Organizational Unit-Related Parameters
With these settings related to the organizational unit (OU) system administration can influence the functionality of the request.
You use the following organizational unit-related (OU-related) parameters to make settings for the request.
You define the corresponding OU parameters in the SAP Easy Access
menu under .
For each OU you can create standard request profiles. A request profile is a combination of services, which are often requested in this combination.
You use this parameter to control the display of request profiles on the tab pages of the selection list.
You can set the following options:
Space: Space: Display the request profiles in a separate Profiles
tab page in the request hit list (standard value)
X: Display the request profiles as Profile
nodes on the Other
tab page
The system will check the parameter for the requesting nursing organizational unit (OU).
Depending on the setting in parameter N1AFPTREE
(X) you can use this parameter to define the position of the request profiles on the Other
tab page.
You can set the following options:
1: Request profiles at the beginning of the list of the Other
tab page (standard value)
L: Request profiles at the end of the list of the Other
tab page
Space: No node is displayed for the request profiles.
The system will check the parameter for the requesting nursing organizational unit (OU).
You use this parameter to control which OU the system enters or presets as the requesting departmental OU for a service in the request, the clinical order, the service entry or the subsequent service entry functions:
You can select from the following options:
X (default value)
For the request and the clinical order
For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the department that is saved in the patient's most recent transfer movement or admission movement as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For outpatient cases, the system enters the department of the first movement of the case as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For caseless requests or caseless clinical orders, the system enters the departmental OU specified in the request or in the clinical order as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the department that is saved in the patient's most recent transfer movement or admission movement as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For outpatient cases, the system enters the department of the first movement of the case as the departmental OU for the service.
Space
For the request and the clinical order
The system enters the department of the requesting nursing OU (higher-level stuctural OU) as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
The system enters the department of the performing OU (higher-level structural OU) as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
Fixed OU
For the request and the clinical order
The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For requests and clinical orders the system checks the parameter value for the requesting nursing OU of the request or of the clinical order, and for service entry and subsequent service entry it checks the parameter value for the performing OU.
You use this parameter to control which OU the system enters or presets as the requesting nursing OU for a service in the request, the clinical order, service entry, or subsequent service entry.
You can select from the following options:

For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the care unit on which the patient is currently accommodated as the the requesting nursing OU for the service.
For outpatient cases, the system enters the OU of the first movement of the case as the nursing OU for the service.
For caseless requests or caseless clinical orders, the system enters the nursing OU specified in the request or in the clinical order as the requesting nursing OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
For inpatient and day patient cases, the system enters the care unit on which the patient is currently accommodated as the the requesting nursing OU for the service.
For outpatient cases, the system enters the OU of the first movement of the case as the nursing OU for the service.
Space
For the request and the clinical order
The system enters the nursing OU specified in the request or in the clinical order also as the requesting nursing OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
The system enters the performing OU as the requesting nursing OU for the service.
Fixed OU
For the request and the clinical order
The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For service entry and subsequent service entry
The system enters the OU specified in the parameter value as the requesting departmental OU for the service.
For requests and clinical orders the system checks the parameter value for the requesting nursing OU of the request or of the clinical order, and for service entry and subsequent service entry it checks the parameter value for the performing OU.
Using parameter N1ANFOINP
you can control whether the following fields of the request should be ready for input if the request is already confirmed, but no appointments have yet been allocated for the services of the request:
Short Anamnesis
Questions
Specifications of the Pregnancy
Transport Type
Callback Number
Desired Time (i.e. date and time)
The technical document
You can enter the following values:
Space: Fields can no longer be changed if request has already been confirmed (standard value)
X: Fields can be changed, even if request has already been confirmed
You use this parameter to control whether the postprocessed requests (indicator in request type) should also be displayed in the dialog box for printing, in the collective request entry function (Request Data
dialog box).
You can set the following options:
Space: Postprocessed requests are not displayed (standard value)
X: Postprocessed requests are displayed
The system will check the parameter value for the requesting organizational unit (OU).
A technical document can be assigned to a request type. The user can only confirm the request once the technical document has been created.
You can use this parameter to control whether the technical document should automatically be released when the request is confirmed.
You can set the following options:
Space: The user must explicitly release the technical document (standard value).
X: The user automatically releases the technical document when confirming the request.
The system will check the parameter value for the performing organizational unit (OU).
