Employees (Business Partners)

All natural or legal persons with business or communicative contacts to a hospital are designated as business partners.

The patient represents the only exception: Although he/she might also logically be regarded as a business partner of the hospital, he/she is managed separately at each institution, for data protection reasons. All other persons are managed at client level, and their data is thus accessible at all client institutions.

You enter each business partner just once in the system along with the master data (name and address.) In addition, there is data, which you enter depending on the role of the business partner. Of these roles the following are of significance for IS-H*MED:

Employees (internal physicians, and nursing, medical and administrative staff)
External physicians
