OU Parameters for Mat. Cons. Documentation With MM Integration
You can use these settings to influence the material consumption documentation functionality in relation to the organizational unit (OU).
You use the following organizational unit-related parameters (OU parameters) to make settings for material consumption documentation.
You define the corresponding OU parameters on the SAP Easy Access
screen by choosing .
You use the following OU parameters to make settings for material consumption documentation with MM integration.
Caution
These parameters are only effective if you use material consumption documentation with Materials Management (MM) integration.
This parameter defines the number of characters used to display the material number in the input help for the Material Proposal
screen and in the Enter Consumed Material
screen.
Valid parameter values are 0 to 18 characters. If you do not define the parameter, the standard value is preset with 18 characters. If the parameter value is 0, the display of the material number is suppressed.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
This parameter defines the number of characters used to display the medical material name in the Material Proposal
screen and in the Enter Consumed Material
screen. The medical material name is entered in the material master.
Valid parameter values are 0 to 80 characters. The standard value is preset with 80 characters. If the parameter value is 0, the display of the medical material name is suppressed.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
You can use this parameter to determine whether the material hit list of the OU should be displayed as standard when the Material Proposal
screen is called.
X: The material hit list is only displayed when the user selects the Hit List
function.
SPACE: The material hit list of the OU is always displayed (standard value).
If you have an extensive hit list we recommend that you set the value of the parameter to X in order to avoid performance problems.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
This parameter defines how the call of the Enter Consumed Material
screen should behave the first time material in entered.
B: The system branches directly to the Enter Consumed Material
screen without calling the material proposal.
L: The system branches to the Material Proposal
screen (standard value). This behavior corresponds to the input help for the material selection. Material originating from the material proposal for the service is displayed to the user in highlighted form.
D: The system branches to the Enter Material Consumed
screen. The system transfers the material which was defined as the material proposal for the service into the screen. You must have defined a material proposal for the service in the basic data in order for this to be proposed.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
You can use this parameter to determine whether the enter material range of the OU should be displayed as standard when the Material Proposal
screen is called.
X: The material hit list is only displayed when the user selects the Materials Range
function.
SPACE: The material range of the OU is always displayed (standard value).
If you have an extensive range of materials we recommend that you set the value of the parameter to X in order to avoid performance problems.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
You can use this parameter to control the sort order within the material proposal. If the parameter is not defined, materials are sorted in ascending material number order. You can use the parameter to determine an ascending or descending sort order using the Material Number, Name, Quantity, or Quantity Unit columns. The materials are sorted within the node displayed in the material proposal, e.g. service-related material proposal or material range.
You can select the following sort orders using the parameter values:
1: Material number ascending
2: Material number descending
3: Name ascending
4: Name descending
5: Quantity ascending
6: Quantity descending
7: Quantity unit ascending
8: Quantity unit descending
You can use this parameter to determine whether a hierarchy definition of the input help should be displayed as standard when the Material Proposal
screen is called. You can store a hierarchy code from the hierarchy definition of the input help in the parameter.
You should note that displaying a hierarchy can have a negative effect on performance.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
This parameter defines the number of characters used to display the plant in the input help for the Material Proposal
screen and in the Enter Consumed Material
screen.
Valid parameter values are 0 to 4 characters. If you do not define the parameter, the standard value is preset with 4 characters. If the parameter value is 0, the display of the plant is suppressed.
The system checks the parameter value for the performing OU for which material is entered.
You use this parameter to declare the superordinate material proposal in which the drugs are listed.
In parameter OP_BLUTOP
you declare the superordinate material proposal in which the blood preparations are listed.
You use this parameter to declare the superordinate material proposal in which the implants are listed.
