You can assign order templates or template groups to a diagnosis, organizational unit and/or a user.

Prerequisites

You have already created order templates or template groups.

Procedure

  1. On the drug management initial screen, choose TemplatesManage Order Template Assignments Order (TemplatesManage Order Template Assignments).

    The Initial Screen: Edit Order Template Assignmentscreen appears.

  2. Enter an institution and an order template or template group and choose Display (Display) or Change (Change).

    The system may preset the institution with the value from user parameter EIN.

    Multiple selection is available when you enter an order template and template group.

    Choosing Display (Display) takes you to the Display Assignment for Order Templates screen.

    Choosing Change (Change) takes you to the Change Assignment for Order Templates screen.

  3. Assign an order template or template group as follows:

    • Assignment to diagnosis:

      1. Transfer an order template or template group into the assignment area by double-clicking and then choose  Connection to Diagnosis Diagnosis ( Connection to Diagnosis).

        You access the Diagnosis Selection dialog box.

      2. Enter the diagnosis or select a diagnosis e.g. from the hit list and confirm by choosing Continue (Continue).

    • Assignment to organizational unit (OU)

      1. Transfer an order template or template group into the assignment area by double-clicking and then choose  Connection to OU OU ( Connection to OU).

        You access the Organizational Units dialog box.

      2. Select an organizational unit and then choose Choose (Choose).

    • Assignment to user

      1. Transfer an order template or template group into the assignment area by double-clicking and then choose  Connection to User User ( Connection to User).

        You access the user search.

      2. Execute the user search, select a user in the subsequent dialog box and then choose Transfer (Transfer).

    Moreover, you can also undo assignments. To do this, select an assigned diagnosis, an assigned OU or an assigned user and then choose Undo Connection Undo (Undo Connection).
