Function documentationGeneral Parameters Tab Page

On the General Parameters tab page you enter and manage parameters for a drug, which you can take into account in the medication order or in the medication events.

Example Example

You can use general parameters to customer-specifically classify drugs.

End of the example.

General parameters of one or more drugs can also be added, changed or deleted by an external program (e.g. pharmacy system) via an RFC function. The RFC function ISHMED_ME_PHL_ADJUST_GENPAR in function module N1ME_PHL_RFC is available for this.

The general parameter is identified in the calling external program using the name of the general parameter in i.s.h.med (as defined in the customizing of the general parameter).

The drug can be identified in the calling external program as follows:

  • using the catalog ID of the drug in the external drug catalog in use

  • using a general parameter of the drug (name and value of parameter)

  • using the material number of the drug in the materials management system (MM)

Prerequisites

You have already defined generic parameters in the Implementation Guide under Start of the navigation path Industry-Specific Component Clinical System Next navigation step Medication Next navigation step Drug Catalog Next navigation step Generic Drug Parameters Manage Drug Parameters End of the navigation path.

A general parameter can be valid for one specific institution or for all institutions.

Activities

In the input help select a general parameter and determine the parameter value for this drug.

Furthermore you can also determine whether the drug parameters of this drug should be inherited by subordinated drugs of the drug hierarchy.

Note Note

Note that the system will also execute any changes made to a drug parameter of a superordinate drug in the correspondingly inherited drug parameter of the subordinate drug.

End of the note.

In the table you can select whether you wish to display deleted drug parameters and can change the layout of the table.
