Function documentationCatalog Tab Page

On the Catalog tab page, you enter and receive information concerning the status of the drug, the external catalog from which it was imported, and external references to other catalogs.

If you have imported a drug from an external catalog, the information in the Catalog group box are (as far as possible) already filled due to the information available in the external catalog (e.g. catalog name, validities, etc.).

You can use the Manual Check indicator to control whether imported drugs must be checked before they are activated, because, for example, drug values were calculated during the import.

Furthermore you can determine whether an import of an external drug can make changes to the properties of a drug which already exists in the internal catalog (formulary).

If you manually create a drug, the system will not automatically set the Manual Check indicator for this drug.

Activities

To enter references for corresponding drugs from external catalogs, choose Add Catalog (Add Catalog) in the entry table for references (reference table).

If you have created references to a drug, you can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) ISHMED_ME_MD_PRC_FORMU to call the drug information from the referenced catalog, by choosing Call Reference Catalog (Call Reference Catalog) in the Call External Catalog column.

Note that you can choose Do not Display Deleted (Do not Display Deleted) if you do not wish to display deleted reference entries in the reference table. Choose Display Deleted (Display Deleted) to display all reference entries.
