Procedure documentationSearching for Drugs by Order Template

You can use this search to find order templates and groups.

You can choose from the search results and transfer these drugs into other functions, for example, the medication order.

The order template search is integrated into the following functions:

  • Edit Order Templates (transaction N1ME_TMPL)

  • Create Medication Orders

User-specific settings are available for presetting search criteria.

You can use wild cards "*" to replace one or more characters for the search.

The order template search enables multiple selection of drugs from the results list. See Multiple Selection

Grouping Behavior for Order Templates

You can use the grouping behavior for order templates to determine whether the order templates should be grouped together when displayed in the results lists of the drug search. You define this grouping behavior in the user-specific settings. Furthermore the system groups the order templates according to their order template group.

Procedure

  1. In the search dialog, enter the search criteria for the order templates and groups and choose Start Drug Search (Start Drug Search).

  2. The system displays the order templates and groups in the results list.

You can execute the following activities with these search results:

    • To transfer an order template or group into the shopping cart, select them and then choose Add to Shopping Cart (Add to Shopping Cart). The selection is retained in the shopping cart if you search again. To transfer the selected order templates and groups from the shopping cart into the order, choose Order All Selected Drugs (Order All Selected Drugs).

    • To transfer an order template or group directly into the calling function, e.g. Create Order, select it and then choose Order All Selected Drugs (Order All Selected Drugs). The system automatically transfers the objects from the shopping cart which you have already collected.

      Note Note

The search term always refers to the drug. This means that all order templates for the drugs found are displayed.

      End of the note.
