Function documentationEnhanced Tab Page

This tab page contains additional search criteria for the drug search:

The following criteria are available:

  • Drug Type

You can restrict the search to specific drug types (e.g. active ingredient of an infusion).

    Note Note

If you call the drug search for searching ingredients for a mixed drug, the system will preset the selection criteria for drug types with the drug types usually used for the current drug, depending on the system parameter N1FORTY. In this case the system displays the selection criteria for drug types on the General tab page and displays the checkboxes for the order purposes on the Enhanced tab page.

    End of the note.
  • Template Restrictions

In the Template Restrictions group frame each order template must be assigned to a template group and bears the name of the template group, so the search has been restricted to template groups. You can also restrict using template names, diagnoses, health problems or organizational units. For the diagnosis catalog the system provides a selection list of the diagnosis catalogs used in the template assignments. If you restrict according to specific codes, you must enter the diagnosis code.

    Note Note

In the user-specific presettings you can select how the catalog for diagnoses should be preset in the Template Restrictions group box.

    End of the note.

The problem catalog and problem code are available as additional selection criteria for order templates. If you choose the All Problems function, the system displays all problems that are already assigned to a template group.

  • Package size

You can search for drugs according to their package size. The package size refers to the unit of the reference dose of the drug. You can select the unit in the list field to the right of the package size field. Dimensional units are taken into account during the search according to their conversion factors.

    Example Example

If you enter 20 as the package size and tablets as the unit, the system will display all drugs which are available in packages of 20 tablets.

If you enter 2000 as the package size and milligrams as the unit, the system will display all drugs which are available in a converted package size of 2 grams.

    End of the example.

    Note Note

If you do not enter a unit the system will display all drugs which contain the specified number for the package size in the package size field. In this case no conversion is made.

    End of the note.
  • Maximum Number of Hits

You can restrict the number of drugs to be displayed to a maximum number.

    Note Note

In the user-specific presettings on the Results tab page you can use the Maximum Number of Hits field in the Search Results group box to determine how the maximum number of hits is preset in the search dialog.

    End of the note.
  • Drug Catalog

If you call the search as an anamnestic drug search, you can use the Drug Catalog list field to control which drug catalog the system searches in. The system always presets the catalog with the current catalog of the institution.

    Note Note

You can only select a different drug catalog to that of the institution if you use the search for anamnestic orders.

    End of the note.
  • Additional Restrictions

You can restrict the drug search using further criteria, e.g. administration route, dosage form or administration device.
