Maintain User Favorites
You can use the user favorites to determine user-specific drug favorites.
In this way you can provide the users with frequently ordered drugs as favorites, in order to simplify the search and selection of drugs.
Depending on the user-specific presettings this selection represents a list of drugs which you can assign as favorites.
Note
Favorites are cross-institutional.
In order to assign favorites you can create a new entry in the favorites maintenance function. You access favorite maintenance in the Implementation Guide
under from the drug search itself or from the maintenance of user-specific presettings.
My Favorites
The left screen area displays favorites which are already assigned to you., Favorites are sorted according to priority in descending order. The system sets the priority using the position at which a drug is entered in the favorites. You can move entries using Drag & Drop to change the priorities of favorites.
The input help for the Mnemonic
field calls the drug search with the single selection of a drug from the results list. The results list displays only drugs.
Example
You search directly for the drug name M/asp*. The system will search for a drug with the criteria defined in the user-specific presettings.
When you assign drugs which are not valid as favorites, the system will display an error message.
Determine New Favorites
The right-hand screen area offers the option of searching for new favorites. The following group boxes are provided for this purpose:
Find My Orders
In this group box you can execute a search for drugs which are frequently used in orders you have created. You can define the Start Date
and Number of Hits
criteria in the user-specific presettings. The system will offer all drugs from the found orders which are valid in the drug catalog at the time of the search.
Example
You have ordered the drug Aspirin 500mg 20 times within the last three months. In the drug catalog, however, this drug is no longer valid, because it is no longer manufactured. The system will not therefore display Aspirin 500mg in the list of results.
The system will display the results with the following information:
Function | Description | What You Should Know |
|---|---|---|
Drug Name | This column displays the drug names for the ordered drug. | — |
