Function documentationChange Status of Order

The internal status "Saved" is the only status for the order to which several external statuses (e.g. Saved, Pending Check, Checked, etc.) can be assigned. You can therefore map any customer-specific work processes.

You use the Change Order Status function to change from one external status of the internal status "Saved", to the next.

Example Example

The user changes the (external) status of the order from "Saved" to the status "Checked".

End of the example.

This function is available in views of the Medication Orders View Type in the clinical work station.

If you select several orders, you can specify a status to which all orders should be set.

Note Note

The Business Add-In N1ME_CHANGE_MOSTATUS is available for customer-specific enhancements to this function. See Customer-Specific Enhancements for Medication

End of the note.

Prerequisites

System administration has assigned several external statuses to the internal status "Saved".

Activities

To change the status of the order, choose Change Order Status (Change Order Status) in a view of the Medication Orders view type.

You access the Change Status dialog box where you can transfer the proposed status or select the desired status from the input help. Furthermore, you must also confirm the status change.

The system will automatically propose the next status in the status sequence (e.g. "Checked"). If you select several orders with differing external statuses, the system will propose the highest possible external subsequent status.

Note Note

If you select an order for which the last external status of the status sequence has been reached (e.g. "Checked"), the system will propose the previous external status (e.g. "Pending Check").

End of the note.
