Medication Order Base Item Type

You can create or edit a medication order (order) with a base item of this base item type. You can use one of the following actions:

At first execution the system calls the processing of medication orders in the processing mode that is entered as the initial action.

At repeat execution the system executes the processing of medication orders in the processing mode that is entered as the repeat action.

The base item type for medication orders provides you with the following configuration options, for example:

to automatically open the enhanced view for the first order in the compressed view of the medical orders
to create anamnestic orders
to define layout variants for the compressed view of the medical orders
to use function variants for the order dialog
The following functions are available to you:
- Activate Suspended
- Transfer to Template
to use selection variants for the order dialog

Example
You can use, for example, a selection variant for a task to select all anamnestic orders and to transfer their medications into your hospital’s own orders.
