You activate Smart Chart in Customizing under Start of the navigation path SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Component Clinical System Next navigation step Smart UI Next navigation step Patient Profile Next navigation step Patient Record Next navigation step Smart Chart Next navigation step Activate Chart, Determine Standard Layout End of the navigation path. Set the Chart Active indicator.

The Chart Active indicator shows other components whether Smart Chart is available for the institution. Only release Smart Chart if the following software is installed on all work stations on which Smart Chart is to be displayed:

  • NetWeaver Business Client 4.0

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher

  • Microsoft Silverlight Version 4.0 or higher

  • SAP GUI for Windows 7.30 or higher
