Annotations for Hierarchically Structured Data

OData services are self-describing in that they provide the semantic information related to their elements in their metadata document. This enables developers as well as generic UIs to consume the Gateway Service.

Hierarchical annotations are semantic information that describes the parent-child relationship in the data and, optionally, the properties that describe the hierarchy level and the drill state.
