Reference Layer Group HierarchiesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

A reference layer is retrieved from an external system such as a GIS system.

In this step, you can group together reference layers as well as create subgroups within the groups in a hierarchical structure. Each subgroup uses a level in the hierarchical structure and can contain a single layer or further subgroups in a hierarchical structure.

Note

A subgroup that contains a leaf layer cannot contain other layers or subgroups.
