Use

The analytics list component WDA_BS_ANLY_LIST_OVP uses the SAP List Viewer (ALV) to display the data of an analytic query as a table or with Crystal Reports.

Features

Displaying and Analyzing Data

  • You can sort and filter data, and define your own view.

  • You can change the List Drilldown by choosing the Drilldown Settings pushbutton at runtime.

You can change the display or the drilldown of the list by adding characteristics to the list, deleting them, or changing the sequence. You can add characteristics and key figures to the list either by drag and drop or with the context menu. Depending on the configuration, you can also save the drilldown.

See Configuration of Analytics List Component and Changing List Drilldown.

  • You can display your data with Crystal Reports (Crystal Reports Viewer for SAP Business Suite Applications) and then adapt the formatting to your own requirements. For example, you can use your own template instead of the standard generic template.

See List Display with Crystal Reports.

  • You can show and hide information about the analytic query. When you choose the Info pushbutton at runtime, the report data and description of the view, the variable values defined in the query, and the filter values of the query are displayed.

If you define filters in the list settings, these are also displayed in the list information as Dynamic Filters from SAP List Viewer.

This information is available for printing, displaying with Crystal Reports, or exporting to a spreadsheet program. This lets you use and print all the information relevant to the list.

  • You can display in the list the exceptions defined in the analytic query (in nine colors, as with the Query Designer).

Printing and Exporting Data

  • You can print the list or export it to Microsoft Excel.

  • If you display the data with Crystal Reports, you can export the data from the Crystal Report view to files with the following formats:

    • Crystal Reports (*.rpt)

    • PDF (*.pdf)

    • Microsoft Excel (*.xls)

    • Microsoft Word (*.doc)

    • Rich Text Format (*.rtf)

    • XML (*.xml)

Navigation

You can navigate from the list to predefined destinations, such as master data reports or transactions.

If you have defined any destinations, you can choose the Goto pushbutton at runtime to display all the destinations available.

You can determine navigation destinations using the following methods:

  • Navigation Destinations Using Launchpad

In the configuration of the analytics list component, a launchpad can be specified by its launchpad role and instance.

When the application is called by URL, the launchpad role and instance can also be transferred as a URL parameter.

Each entry of the specified launchpad represents a navigation destination.

See Configuration of Analytics List Component and Parameter Mapping in Launchpad with Navigation Destinations.

  • Navigation Destinations Using Sender/Receiver Assignments

In Sender/Receiver Assignment (transaction RSBBS), you can assign an analytic query (sender) multiple receivers. When you subsequently display this query in the list component, you can then navigate to the destinations so defined.

For more information about receiver types, see the documentation of SAP NetWeaver under Changing and Creating Sender/Receiver Assignments

Note

During navigation, the contexts, static filters, dynamic filters, and characteristic values are transferred from the selected row to the destination.
