 Entering Ownership Relationships

Use

In this section of the land register, you record the owner or owners of parcels entered in the real estate register, along with the basis for the entry.

The basis for the entry could be, for example, conveyance, inheritance, or certification as auction winner.

The following forms of ownership are possible:

  • Sole ownership

The owner does not share any rights on the land.

  • Tenancy in common

Multiple owners share ownership in a piece of land, with each possessing a fractional share that is allowed to be sold separately.

  • Joint ownership

Multiple owners share ownership in the land as a whole. None of the owners has the right to sell his share separately.
