Using this planning function, you can plan and create multiple pooled spaces at the same time.
You select architectural objects (such as rooms), and assign one or more pooled spaces to them from the structure display. The system then copies the measurements of the architectural object completely to the pooled space.
This planning functions is especially useful for planning pooled spaces when the rental spaces you want are still assigned to existing pooled spaces.
Note
Transferring partial measurements is only possible in single processing, not here (refer to Assignments Between Usage and Architectural Views (Individual Processing) ).
You created architectural objects. The highest-level architectural objects are assigned to the highest-level usage objects, for instance, the building is assigned to a business entity.
On the
SAP Easy Access
screen, choose
:
.
On the selection screen, enter the architectural objects to which you want to assign pooled spaces.
Enter the company code and the measurement type you want to use to select architectural objects.
Note
The second measurement type is an optional entry. It is displayed as a second structure.
In the
Key Date
field, enter the date starting on which the planned or created pooled spaces are valid.
Choose
with the quick info text
Execute.
The
Definition of Pooled Space
screen appears
.
There you see the following characteristics of the architectural object structure:
Its measurements
Which architectural objects (usually rooms) are assigned to which pooled spaces
Usage type of the assigned pooled space
Planned pooled spaces (if you already created plans for these objects, see below)
Note
If you do not see any measurements for an architectural object, you may have selected a measurement type on the selection screen that does not exist on this object.
Select the objects that you want to assign to a pooled space.
Recommendation
We recommend making the assignment as detailed as possible. Select objects at the lowest hierarchy level, such as rooms, in order to define a pooled space. This is necessary since the rental spaces that you later extract from the pooled space can only be assigned to architectural objects that are themselves assigned to the pooled space.
Consequently, it is not possible to define a pooled space at the level of a floor, and then specify the rental spaces belonging to it based on the rooms on the floor.
The following functions are available:

To create a planned pooled space, choose

To create the planned pooled spaces, choose

You can perform the following the for the selected objects:
Create a new pooled space or a planned pooled space
To do so, enter a number for the pooled space in the
Planned Po
(oled Space)column.
Note
Even if you use automatic number assignment, enter a rental object number that does not yet exist in the system.
When automatic number assignment is used, the number is assigned consecutively and does not have to be the same as your entry here. Your entry here is for making a unique assignment to a pooled space.
Assign it to an existing pooled space
To do so, enter a number for the pooled space in the
Planned Po
(oled Space)column.
Assign it to an already planned pooled space
To do so, enter a number for the planned pooled space in the
Planned Po
(oled Space)column.
Assign it to an existing rental unit
To do so, enter a number for the rental unit in the
Planned Po
(oled Space)column.
To change the assignment of pooled spaces to architectural objects after the planning was saved, enter a different rental object number in the
Planned Pooled Space
column.
The new pooled spaces are assigned to the architectural objects. The measurement amounts are adopted completely.
To process pooled spaces individually, on the
SAP Easy Access
screen choose
Rooms 1 to 10 on the second floor are to be grouped into a pooled space.
First you have to assign the highest level objects in the architectural and usage views to one another:
