Characteristic Selection Conditions (Example.)

If the standard model of bicycle is selected, you must assign a value to characteristic BACKPEDAL_BRAKE. To do this, you assign a selection condition to characteristic BACKPEDAL_BRAKE.

1. Choose the tap page Characteristics in Class and the function Change characteristic.

2. You are on the Basic data : tab page

3. – If the characteristic has no dependencies so far, choose  Extras  Object dependencies  Editor. 

   – If the characteristic has dependencies, choose  Extras  Object dependencies  Assignments. 

   You see the screen for assigning object dependencies. Choose  Edit  New dependency  Local. 

4. You see the dialog box for selecting the dependency type. Select Selection condition.

5. In the editor, enter the following source code for your dependency:

6. Model EQ ‘Standard’

7. Save your source code.

8. On the basic data tab page of the characteristic, you see a pushbutton labeled Dependencies.

9. Save your characteristic.

If the model of bicycle is Standard, you must enter a value for characteristic BACKPEDAL_BRAKE.
