You can cancel reservations that you no longer need. To enable the system to calculate the costs of the cancellation, you define cancellation schemas, and assign them to reservations dependent on the reservation area, reservation object type, and reservation type. In Customizing choose

. You can display the cancellation costs in the reservation by choosing

Cancellation Costs
)
The system processes the rules in a cancellation schema in the sequence you specify. As soon as the conditions of one of the rules are met, then the system determines the cancellation costs of the reservation using that rule. The system does not check if any later rules in the sequence are valid for the reservation.
You made all the settings described in Room Reservations and Long-Term Seating Arrangements and you created a reservation.
In the RE Navigator (RE80), choose
Object Overview
. In the dropdown list, choose
Reservation
and enter the reservation you want to cancel.
To display the cancellation costs, choose
(
Cancellation Costs
) in the
Costs
group box
The system displays the costs that would arise if the reservation were cancelled.
To cancel the reservation, choose
(
Cancel
).
The system shows the reservation is canceled. If you run the program for posting reservation costs, the system posts the cancellation costs in Controlling (CO). The reservation object is available to be reserved again during the time cancelled.
