Archiving CATT Logs (CA-CAT-TOL)

Definition

Archiving object CATPROARCH for archiving CATT flow traces. Flow traces are created each time a CATT test object is started.

Caution Caution

Only logs that are marked with a CATT check indicator are designated for archiving. This check indicator can be set in the user parameters of the tester. This indicator can still be manually assigned to a log.

Use

We recommend that you archive the flow traces for fixed periods, for example fortnightly. The periods should vary in the system according to how often the tests occur.

Structure

If you are using archiving object CATPROARCH, data from the following tables is archived if the expiration date lies at least 14 days before the current date.

  • CATK log activity data

  • CATL log flow trace

  • CATM log function data

  • CATN log parameter data

  • CATF static function data

All logs that have not been marked for archiving and that have an expiration date 14 days before the current date are deleted.

Archive

Logs marked for archiving are only archived if the expiration date is 14 days before the current date.

All logs that have not been marked for archiving and that have an expiration date 14 days before the current date are deleted.

The logs are displayed in the usual way that CATT logs are displayed.
