Authorizations

The framework uses the authorization concept provided by the SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and SAP HANA Platform.

Therefore, the recommendations and guidelines for authorizations as described in the SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP Security Guide and HANA platform also apply to SAP Geographical Enablement Framework. The SAP authorization concept is based on assigning authorizations to users based on roles.

For role maintenance in application server ABAP (AS ABAP), use the profile generator transaction PFCG in the backend system.
