 Adjusting Conditions by Fifteenths

Purpose

Adjustment by fifteenths is a rent adjustment method in Austria that allows for increasing rent incrementally over a period of fifteen years. You assign this method to the condition you want to adjust in the contract and then you execute an adjustment run.

Prerequisites

You made the settings in Customizing described in Adjustment by Fifteenths .

Process Flow

I. Assign Rent Adjustment Method to the Condition

You are processing a real estate contract (see Processing Real Estate Contracts ).

  • Assign an adjustment rule for adjustment by fifteenths to the condition to be changed (see Defining the Adjustment Process in the Contract/Rental Object ).

    II. Create a Statistical Condition for the Adjustment

  • Create a second condition in the contract with a statistical condition purpose.

  • In this condition, you enter the validity period for the condition item, with the end of the time period for the adjustment by fifteenths.

  • Also enter the target rent as the condition amount in this condition.

    The system determines the starting value from the current condition item. If you want to use a different starting value, you have to enter another condition item of the same condition category, with the condition purpose one-time statistical .

  • Activate the contract.

    III. Execute the Adjustment

Execute the adjustment run (see Specifying and Editing Adjustments ). For executing the adjustment, enter the procedure of the adjustment rule for adjustment by fifteenths.

Result

You adjusted contract conditions using adjustment by fifteenths.
