Security of the Communication Channels

Communication between the individual components of Search and Operational Analytics, that is, the ABAP component and TREX/BWA, is based on an RFC connection.

RFC connections can be protected using Secure Network Communications (SNC).

No data requiring special protection (for example, passwords) is transferred. Data that is of interest to third parties (for example, the company's financial data or personal account numbers) is only transferred if the customer selects it as a source for indexing.
